I have been playing in various bands permanently or as a session musician for 18 years now. Everything from small pubs to sold out large venues around the world.
Primarily, I play drums. It’s what I studied for and it’s probably what I’ve spent the most money on - most notably for Crazy Arm, The Human Project and Quiet Man. Drumming has taken me to every corner of Europe, Japan, North America and Canada.
That’s not to say I am inexperienced when it comes to our beloved four and six stringed instruments. I have been the influential writer for bands such as Wisecrack and Liberty Strike and have played for Bad Ideas and Woahnows alongside these.
What I can offer.
Whether you’re a band looking for a stand-in musician, a producer looking for an organic influence on a track or a solo musician looking to expand - I can be an essential doorway to helping you make the music you love.
I won’t even try to make a price list for this as each session is unique and negotiations can always be made. I’m more interested in making music than becoming a millionaire. So please just get in touch with me if there’s anything you need.
What I can say is; if you need a musician to fill whatever void you’re stuck with then I will learn any and all songs that are needed, I will practice hard every day until the gig/studio session so that when we come to play together, I will be fully prepared, geared up and ready to go. Taking all of the stress of using a dep musician on the fly.
